PROGEDI Program Kick-off meeting

The two-day kick-off meeting of the PROGEDI project took place with great success, on the 30th and 31st of January 2023, at the offices of International Rescue Committee (IRC) Hellas, in Athens city center. This is a new and innovative European project which aims to promote diversity, equality and social inclusion in the business and public sector in Greece.

Although diversity and equality are key priorities of the values of European Union (EU) and the business case for diversity is stronger than ever, evidence from various reports show that internationally, as well as in Greece progress towards a more equal, inclusive and diverse working environment is a complex and slow process.

Project Information
PROGEDI is co-funded by the European Commission through the program of Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values. PROGEDI was initiated on the 1st of January 2023 and its duration is 16 months.

The first activity is to map the needs of organizations in public and private sector, aiming to motivate them through PROGEDI activities, to develop and implement equal opportunities and policies in their working environment.
