New Survey on Diversity and Inclusion in the Working Environment

IRC (International Rescue Committee Hellas), KEAN (Alternative Youth Search Cell) and Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity, in the framework of the European project PROGEDI (Promoting Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace), are conducting an Evaluation Survey on the management of Diversity in the workplace in Greece.

The aim of the research is to study the perceptions, the experiences of employees and the needs of the organisations they work for regarding diversity in the workplace, the existing diversity management practices and the general ability to integrate in the Greek work environment.

The survey – which is open to the business community and will close on 31 May 2023 – is open to employees of private and public sector companies. Their participation in the survey will contribute to understanding the needs and conditions of the Greek labour market. The questionnaire takes about 15 minutes to complete and is addressed to:

  1. Employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (employing up to 250 people), non-profit organisations and public bodies.
  2. To members of Senior Management and Human Resources (HR) in small and medium-sized enterprises (employing up to 250 employees) and non-profit organisations.
  3. To managers of public sector organisations.

As for the PROGEDI project, its main objectives are, first of all, to strengthen the capacity of employees in the public sector and in small and medium-sized enterprises to implement practices of inclusion and respect for diversity. At the same time, to raise awareness and information on all the pillars of Diversity in the working environment. Encouraging businesses and public sector bodies to sign the Diversity Charter in Greece and, finally, strengthening national and transnational cooperation on diversity management between private companies, the public sector and community organisations.
